Bhatkal: Excise sleuths raided the railway bridge near Murdeshwar railway station and seized illegal alcohol hidden there on 28th July.

As per the sources,  21 bottles of life house brand alcohol and 8 bottles of Haywards alcohol were seized. The amount estimated of the seized items is said to be around Rs 8000. 

Excise inspector K South Manor led the raid along with Vishwanath Bath, Mahendra Nail, Manjunath None, Mahantappa Shareef, Manju and Madhav participated in the raid.
