Kozhikode : Aster MIMS hospital, Kozhikode hosted grand get-together for all their patients who had undergone cardiac surgery. The function, held at JDT Islam’s Convention Center, was attended by more than 700 patients and their families.

Dr Murali Vettath, Head of Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery unit at Aster MIMS hospital addressed the gathering. He spoke about leading a near normal life, after a cardiac surgery and also about the various dos and don’ts of post surgery life. In his 14-year long career in Aster MIMS hospital, Dr Vettath and team has treated and cured over 6000 patients.

Hari Ram, a recovered heart transplant patient used this opportunity to express his gratitude to the team through a musical salutation played on the flute. The stage also witnessed the debut of Aster MIMS hospital’s in-house music band Rhythm of Care.
