Hubli: A grand felicitation ceremony for the Muslim meritorious students of SSLC & PUC-ll for the year 2016 was held at Sansruti Bhavan near New cotton market in Hubli and was organized by 'Midmac Foundation Hubli.'

The programme began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Abdul Samad Saheb, followed by the welcome speech by Zafarullah Pathan. The programme was held under the presidency of Abdul Rasheed Dokanwale.

The Chief guest of the function, Karnataka state minority commission Bilquees Banu in her speech expressed her happiness over the girl students achieving good education and urged them to come forward in Social and cultural development activities. "Government has come up with plenty of schemes for the development of women's education and we need to make full use of it", she added.

The programme was organized with the complete intention of providing full encouragement to the minority students in the field of education. Thousands of people witnessed this prestigious program.

On the occasion, the president of the foundation as Muhammad Ismail Shamsi, Trustee as Muhammed Kasim Ahmed Samsi, Irfan Shamsi, District officer of  minorities department as Doddamani were present on the dias.
