Bhatkal: MLA Mankal Vaidya paid a visit to the sea erosion affected areas of Hertar, Honegadde, Hadin of Yelovodi Kovoor grama and Moligadde and inspected the aftereffects of sea erosion on July 9, Saturday. 

Speaking to the media person, he said: "I have inspected the area and understand that people are very much affected by this. The roads have been washed away which is becoming increasingly difficult for the travelling", adding that he will discuss all this issues with the district incharge RV Deshpande and bring to his notice to decide the further course of action from the government. 

He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Chidanand Vatare, Tahshildar VN Badkar, Zilla Panchayat President Jai Shri Moger, Taluka Panchayat President Ishwar Naik, PWD engineer Vinayak Shet and many others officials were present.
