Mangalore: A bike rider killed on the spot when a car and a bus crushed him when he was on his way to Mangalore on Friday. Accident was occured near Kottakeri which comes under Ullal police station limits. 

The deceased bike rider has been identified as Naveen Uday Kumar (53), a resident of Maadur. he was said to be a teaching staff at Prestige school at Ullal.

It is reported that, the incident have took place when a speeding innova car was on the way towards Kerala from Mangalore when the car driver lost control and jumped the road divider and hit a two-wheeler which was coming from opposite direction. Suddenly a bus which was approaching from backside of the bike too stamped the rider who was fallen on road, which turned him to receive serious injuries and was declared dead on the spot. 

The car persons were also injured after which they were taken to the hospital for instant treatments.

A case has been registered in Ullal police station and further investigations are on.
