Gokarna : Nagaraj Mahadev Palkar (47) of Anand Nagar in Hubballi was washed away in sea at Gokarna on Sunday, according to a report on Monday.

He had come to Gokarna with his family to offer religious rites for his daughter who died a few months ago.

Police personnel and local people are searching for the body, according to the report.
