Karwar: Centre opened to receive public grievances application

Karwar: A center for receiving the Janaspandana applications/ grievances has been set up in DC's office building in Karwar on Thursday ahead of the Janaspandana meeting to be held on August 16 and grievances from the public will be received at this centre till August 10.

Hubballi-Ankola Broad gauge railway Office's Special District Officer B Sadashiv Prabhu has been appointed as the nodal officer who will present the applications of the grievances before the deputy commissioner.

In case of applications urging release of pension, compensation, financial benefits to the beneficiaries etc are received, the benefits will be handed over to the beneficiaries by Heavy & Medium Industries and Basic Infrastructure Development Minister R V Deshpande on August 16. Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul has instructed the officers to ensure that there are no anomalies at the Janaspandana meeting.
