Bhatkal: A building has collapsed due to rain and heavy winds at Maavin Korwe grama panchayat. 

It is reported that the place was used as fish hoardings and was owned by Narayan Nagappa Kharvi. The roof of the structure gave away because of the heavy winds and rains. The loss of the structure is estimated to be more than 1 lakhs. 

An appeal has been submitted to MLA Mankal Vaidya who has assured that compensation will be peovided in this regard.
