Bhatkal Tanzeem organises Eid Milan; Calls for Unity

Bhatkal: A significant social organization of Bhatkal, Majlis e Islah wa Tanzeem organised a Eid Milan program for Muslim community of three coastal districts recently here at Anjuman ground in Bhatkal.

Addressing the gathering, President of South Kanara Muslim organization Ashraf Byari said, "Muslims are the only community which is facing injustice in the country, Muslims of Coastal Karnataka being the most discriminated."

He praised the social organisations for its services. "The Tanzeem have done a very great work by uniting the Muslims of Uttar Kannada, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district".

Mangaluru Jamat e Islami president Muhammad Kunhi in his speech said, "The Muslim community is not the community which will easily give up nor it will get depressed by any forms of injustice meted out to us. All we Need to do is to forget dividing into sects and should follow the teachings as per Holy Quran and follow the path of beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW)".

Moulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi, Imam & Khateeb of Jamia masjid Bhatkal called upon the community to stay united by forgetting sects and removing misunderstanding within us as we all belong to one 'Ummah'.

The program began with the recitation of verses of Holy Quran by Maulana Niyamatullah Askeri, Tanzeem Gen secretary Altaf Kharuri briefly introduced the Tanzeem organisation, Vice president Inayatullah Shabandari delivered welcome speech and Ateequr Rahman Shabandari compered the program. Muhammad Muzammil Kazia, president of Majlis-Islah-Wa-Tanzeem, Bhatkal, presided over the program.

Muslim community leader Dr. S M Syed Khalilur Rahman, Mangalore MLA B.A Mohiddin Bawa, President of Muslim central committee Maqsud Ahmed, Sunni leaders Hyder Mangaluru, Shafi Bellare delivered their respective speeches.

Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen president Abdul Rahim Jukaku, Farooq Bawa, Moulana Maqbool Kobattey Nadvi and many other leaders were present on the dais.
