Bhatkal: Railway authorities return the missing bag to owners

Bhatkal: The Bhatkal railway police officers has proved their honesty by returning the  bag belonging to one of the passengers who had left it on the platform at Bhatkal railway station.

 

The railway police inspector Santosh Gaonkar at Bhatkal railway station  reportedly found the bag, inspected it and found a costly mobile phone and other items, then started searching for the owner.

The bag belonged to the Bunder road NRI known as Mohammed Asif, who began his journey to Mangaluru from Bhatkal railway station after forgetting the bag kept at waiting chair at the railway station. When he reached Mangaluru,  he called Railway officers and informed them of the situation and requested them to hand over to his relatives. The railway police, immediately took the bag under their responsibility and safely handed over to the relatives of the owner.
