Bhatkal: Bhatkal police seized a goods vehicle which was transporting 6 cattles and 2 calves on 4th August, Thursday.
It is reported that the perpetrators after observing police, have fled away from the spot leaving the vehicle behind. The accused are identified as Abdullah Rasool Sab (24), a resident of Badriya colony in Bhatkal and Ahmed, a resident of Jaali road in Bhatkal.
The seized vehicle contained 4 cattles each and 2 calves valued at 15,0000. Since there were no legal records found related to the animals laden in the vehicle, it is suspected that it might have been stolen. Hence, the miscreants decided to escape.
