Udupi: A 70-year-old man, Nagesh Kamath, lost his life on February 28 when his car collided with a parked goods truck on Pangala/Kaup NH 66 in Udupi.

The stationary truck, undergoing repairs without warning indicators, proved fatal for Kamath as his contract car crashed into it while en route from Pangla to Kaup. 

The impact caused severe damage to the car's front, leading to Kamath's immediate demise.

Kaup PSI Abdul Khader and the Highway police team, arrived, and the parked truck was removed. 

A case has been registered at the Kaup Police Station.
