Karwar: Dalit Rakshana Vedike has condemned attack on Dalits across the country in the name of cow protection.

Speaking to the media person, Vedike state unit General Secretary Laxman Bansode said that Dalits do not kills cows,  but many of them use the skin of dead cows to prepare leather products. "Cow protection is part of Hinduism, and Dalits also have that responsibility," he reasoned.

Police Department has to take action against those who kill cows and it is injustice on the part of Dalits when 'cow protectors' attack them without reason, he added.

Vedike district unit President Elisha Elakapati has alleged that the government facilities are not reaching all Dalits.
