Siddapur: In a tragic incident, a youth instantly died on spot when his car collided with KSRTC Bus on 7th August, Sunday near Nidaguda in Siddapur taluk. 

The deceased has been identified as Shadab Sheikh(25), resident of Honnavar staying at Siddapur. 

"The incident occurred when a speedy car approaching from Sirsi to Siddapur rammed head-on to the KSRTC Bus which was moving towards Sirsi from Siddapur. The impact of the collision left the car completely marred", said police sources.

It is also reported that the deceased was employed in Riyadh and was married 2 months ago to a girl from Sirsi.  He was returning back from his in-laws', it is learnt. 

In this regard, police have registered a case and investigations are on.
