Bhatkal: Brahmananda Saraswati Swami from Ujire was accorded warm welcome to Bhatkal from the Muslims of Magdoom colony, a finest example of the Hindu-Muslim unity in town.

He was welcomed by the residents of Magdoom colony when he was on the way towards Karikal for the foundation stone laying ceremony of upcoming meditation center in Bhatkal.

On the occasion, general secretary of Markazi Jamatul Muslimeen Jailani Siddiqua, elderly citizens Salman Chamundi, Ansar MS, Mukhtar Muktesar, Abdul Ahad Madikal and others were present. 

It maybe noted that, Magdoom colony residents have won hearts a month back, by distributing cold drinks to devotees who were passing in the procession for Mari-Habba.
