Kumta: A bag containing the cash amount of 4.30 lakhs was stolen away by the crooks from a local grocery store who had come in a form of customers at shop located near Murukatte. The incident took place on 9th August, Tuesday here at Kumta. 

According to the shop owner Rajesh Purshottam, it is studied that the two customers had come to shop asking for groceries. When the shopkeeper moved inside the shop for bringing grocery, the Cash bag kept nearby the counter was stolen away by them and escaped from the shop. Both customers are said to be the employees of a bank and were noticed speaking in Kannada.

A case has been registered in Kumta Police station and further investigations are on.
