Kumta: A body of a man from Bengaluru who had gone missing two days earlier, was found at Kudle beach at Gokarna of Kumta taluk on 14th August.

The deceased has been identified as Richard Punnekal, a resident of Bengaluru. 

Sources say, Richard had gone swimming with his friends but his body was missing since two days. His body was recovered on 14th August, Sunday at Kudle beach. 

The body was immediately shifted to primary health care centre for post mortem process and was handed over to their relatives.

A case has been registered in Gokarna police station and further investigations are on.
