Bhatkal: The Food and Civil Supplies Department has made it compulsory to attain a 10 Rs token from the cyber center before getting the necessary rations from the fair price shops. Consequently,  the cyber center and the fair price shops were clustered with people. 

Looking into the difficulties faced by the public in obtaining of the foodgrains and kerosene by the fair price shops, the food and civil supplies department has decided to extend the date so that the citizens below poverty line can acquire the necessary ration. 

Hence, the deputy director of the department has declared that date to obtain the rations will be extended to 31st August instead of 25th August.
