Mangaluru: A man lost his life when his car collided with the tipper truck at Sullia Madikeri highway on Monday August 8.

Ibrahim alias Muhammed Ashraf (36), resident of Kadembila in Karaya village lost his life in this unfortunate accident. 

Another person, Abdurrashid Bakhavi, native of Madikeri and currently functioning Khateeb of Badriya Jumma Masjid at Karaya, suffered critical injuries. He is admitted into K V G Hospital, Sullia.

A function was held at Bakhavi's relative house who was going to Hajj pilgrimage on Sunday. Bakhavi had been to this programme along with Ibrahim in his car, and was returning on Monday morning, when the accident occurred.

It is learnt that Muhammed Ashraf, employed in Imperial Hotel Bengaluru had come for the holiday at natives.
