Bhatkal: The government has sanctioned 15  crores to construct Kitturu Rani Chenamma residential school and 16 crores to Morarji Desai residential school in the Bhatkal taluk.

Tenders are invited for the construction of the schools which will be built on government lands at Heble.The schools are expected to be completed in two years.

Presently, Rani Chenamma school is functioning at Purvarga and Morarji Desai school at Murdeshwar in rented buildings.
