Bhatkal: The last date for enrolment for the Manipal Arogya Card 2016 has been extended till August 20.

A press conference by Kasturba Hospital here at a private hotel, Anil Jacob, Assistant Manager said that the Manipal Arogya Card enables the member to consult with any specialist/super-specialist doctor any number of times during a year paying only 50 per cent of consultation fee. A 25 per cent discount on diagnostics and laboratory investigations for outpatient is provided.

As an inpatient, the card offers 25 per cent concession in the general ward on the inpatient bill (excluding consumables) for any number of times for one year and up to 10 per cent concession on medicines purchased from pharmacy. The card will be valid from August 25, 2016 to July 31, 2017.

Manipal Arogya Card 2016 is a unique scheme in which the discounts on treatment can be availed on pre-existing diseases and congenital anomalies, medico legal cases, alcohol related treatment, medical management of cases as well.
